The Full Monty
Ron got me tickets for "The Full Monty" for my birthday (which is tomorrow.) We went last night. And as an avowed musical-hater (so sue me, Andrew Lloyd Webber...) I have to say that I LOVED "The Full Monty." The songs were good, the book was pretty good, and the cast at the local production we saw (in Park City, UT) was excellent.
And I don't say that just because the boy who cuts my hair played Dave the Fat Bastard... The whole cast was very good, but Kenny (www.kennethwayne.net) was AMAZING! Except for the part where he had to kiss Dave's wife, he was damn convincing as a straight man!
Oh, and "Blue Collar" comedian Bill Engvall sat directly behind us. It was his second time seeing this particular production, which only opened the night before!
