International Mr Bear 2006, Pedro Veral, owes me $10. He lost a bet we made right before the contest, after I helped him smooth some rough edges off the English translation of his presentation speech. He offered me $10 the next morning at breakhast, but I refused his money. I told him I'd take it out in trade at a later date. He seems a really nice guy; pleasantly approachable, very handsome and sexy too. Not at all an A-List Snob Bear. Not a "chico plástico." If only he weren't such a nice guy, it would be easier to hate him for beating out our two Salt Lake candidates for the title...

Totally cute. I didn't get to meet him but I saw him around and picked up his beefcake campaign postcard. I'm so glad that I didn't run for any title. It was great just hanging out and having fun.

He's pedrozaz on Bear411. He's an extraordinarily beautiful man. I knew he would win the second I set eyes on him in the flesh, without knowing ANYTHING about his other qualifications. But they DON'T judge on looks! Perish the thought!

That he turned out to be a nice guy was a very pleasant surprise. I shouldn't judge people like that, but I do.
