Three Days to Never
Jul. 10th, 2006 08:39 pmLast Thursday, the postman delivered my signed/limited edition Subterranean Press copy (#155 of 474) of Tim Powers's new novel, Three Days to Never. It's only been 6 YEARS since his last novel, Declare came out, so I was really looking forward to this one.
Surprisingly, I've only read 78 pages so far. But it was a very busy weekend, and I had a ton o' shit going on. I'm planning on retiring to the bedroom in a few and see if I can get another couple chapters read before I go to bed.
Tim Powers is, IMHO, the best fantasy writer working in the English language (Garcia Marquez may be a better fantasy writer than Powers, but only just barely.) I'm impressed with the early chapters. I'll post more about it when I've finished the book.
