Started last night, finished today (while lying out in the backyard drinking coconut rum (Parrot Bay) mixed with Tropicana Sugar Free Fruit Punch... Surprisingly tasty!)

Anyway, I'm a bit lit, but here's my review.

LOVED IT!

If you've ever been a fan of Tales of the City, this book will resonate. I laughed, I cried... And now that I know a bit of Gay San Francisco, I knew most of the places mentioned.

Very, very good, and lots of Bearish landmarks.

Glad you enjoy the new book from Maupin Armistead. I saw a picture of Armistead recently & he's really getting to be a hot Daddy Bear, which is what his new book is all about. Do you ever think about writing a book?

I hung around with a group of fledgling writers in the '80's, trying to write. I eventually put it aside about the time I came out, as other concerns became more important than writing.

A couple of the other writers in the group published some stories and novels, and one (Dave Wolverton aka David Farland) actually became a bestselling fantasy writer.

I tell myself that someday I'll get back to writing. Some day I will...

Then get the sugar-full variety, it's tasty, too!
