Star Trek Remastered on the big screen.

I've already got our tickets. Anyone in Utah wanna tag along?

I'm sure there are Trekkies AND Trekkers in Seattle. Ask around the Northwest Bears; I seem to remember one who used "Riker" as an online handle...

Cinemark 24 Jordan Landing. 7:30pm Tuesday, Nov. 13th. all tickets are $12.50. You can get them at the box office, or online by following links on the startrek.com article.

John works at the Wal-Mart by the theater, so he can pick up tickets if you don't wanna pay an extra buck to buy them online.

I was gobsmacked when I saw the list price for the price on the discs for the first season Remastered. Even at Amazon, they're $130! For ONE freakin' season!

OK, they're "HD-DVD" - screw that, it's still bloody ridiculous.

I'll probably get 'em from Netflix and borrow the regular DVD copy on the disc. I think all the "HD" hype is nonsense to begin with, there's no way I'm paying that kind of money!

If they ever come to their senses and release all three seasons remastered in one box on regular DVD for $50, I'll buy it.

They haven't even sold the un-remastered seasons for that price yet...

I'm still waiting for Enterprise to drop to $50 a season so I can buy the ones I care to own: seasons 3 & (especially) 4.
