Rome
Ron gave me an early birthday present a couple weeks ago; a Harman/Kardon 5.1 surround sound amplifier. I hooked it up a couple weekends ago, and have been enjoying the sound it drives through my Polk Audio speakers (a pair of 7A monitors I bought in 1982 -- which still sound magnificent, and smaller remote & center speakers we bought about 10 years ago.
I spent the last few days watching all 22 episodes of Rome on DVD. It was great viewing while down with the flu. I'm disappointed that HBO canceled the series after the second season. I'd love what happens next to Pullo and Caesarion...

What a great gift Ron gave you for your birthday.
Yeah HBO canceled "Rome" because they said it was too expensive. They said the same thing about "Deadwood" too & that was a successful show.
Oh I had to tell you, when I saw your LJ Profile, it indicated that you were born on January 1st which confused me because I thought you were born in February. How did that mix up came about? Take care & have fun at IBR this weekend. HUGS!!!!
