What Ever Happened to Baby Jane

daddytoddWe watched "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?" from Netflix last night.
**SIGH!** It's better in memory than in the watching. So much of the acting is lousy (the teenage girl next door. Joan Crawford...) Bette Davis is awesome, however.
There are 2 or 3 quotable lines, which we all know already. The rest is eminently missable.

Date: 2009-04-13 07:36 pm (UTC)There is an old book called "Bette & Joan: The Devine Feud" about their career long dislike of each other. The bitchfest really came to a head on the set of that movie. A fun read if you can find an old copy.
