I'll believe it when someone whose opinion of Star Trek I trust sees it. It's entirely possible for this film to be a "great movie" and simultaneously be abysmal Star Trek.

I remain unconvinced; a friend and I have plans to go see a cheap afternoon matinee after the opening furor passes.

Some people need to see it with their own eyes. and some people won't like it. I know there's probably lots of movies George likes that I hate.**SHRUG**

Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing Star Trek on Sunday... (I feel like quite the slacker, not going on opening night. I think this is the first Trek opening night I've ever missed Ever.)
