Delany, again

I found a great interview with Samuel Delany this morning.

But, even better, is this picture. Note that Delany uses 4 of his Nebula Award trophies to prop up a stack of books (He's more-or-less pointing at them in the lower left-hand corner.)

It reminds me of the hoarder whose bed was in a pile of books stacked all around him, and then they were jostled and buried him. (Also, an erotic scene in the book "Last Report on the Miracles at Little No Horse").

Reading something like this (or for that matter, Harlan Ellison) always inspires me to try and be a better writer. Delaney's one amazing cat.

Delany sounds intriguing.

I looked him up online.

He's a big, long bearded gay man who has written many science fiction novels.

Since I like all the above, I will buy a few of his books.
