Adrian and the Sickness - B.F.D.
I fell in love with Adrian and her band first time I saw them at Burt's Tiki Lounge several years back. I brought them to Pride both years when I was Entertainment Director. I even brought Adrian's "other" band, Hell's Belles, to Pride the second year. They killed.
I've been impatiently awaiting the third CD from AatS since I learned a couple years back that Adrian was collaborating with Go-Go Kathy Valentine as producer and songwriting collaborator on some songs.
The CD, titled B.F.D., dropped about a month ago, and I got it last week. Wow! It's a Power Punk Pop masterpiece. You could really do worse than spending $15 for a copy. Order it from Adrian's website.
My fave tracks are Listening, which has hit single written all over it; Talk to Me and a cover of Radar Love are other highlights. This one should put Adrian and the Sickness on the map.
