I saw 'John Carter' last week and while I didn't think it was the greatest, I agree, it certainly was no worse than other stuff that is foisted upon us. I thought it was a little slow in the middle. Too much of the Carter/Princess making eyes at each other...none of it in ways that had not been seen many times before. Not seen 'Prometheus' but can imagine I will be disappointed. Not least after seeing Scott interviewed saying that when people asked him what it was about he said, looking exasperated. "Everything". Oops...hubris calling.
