I know this because 2 of my coworkers stood next to her in the "VIP" security line at the Denver International Airport yesterday. I was waiting for them on the other side of the metal detectors, and got to watch as the luminous Ms Abdul (and her HUNKY latino boduguard -- Rrrrowlf!) was whisked past us by a pair of security people.

She was then on the same underground shuttlw with us as we sped from the main terminal past Concourse A to Concourse B, where La Abdul and her entourage got off. As it were.

I was in Denver for the Out & Equal conference, which was pretty great. I might get around to writing around it one of these days.

I got some of your CDs the other day... the Bobbleheds CD is very cool, and both your solo CDs are great, too.

I'll do a review in my LJ in a couple weeks, after I've had a chance to listen to them enough to let them sink in.

For the past year or so, I've really enjoyed listening to music created by the men in my community, no matter what the genre (although I'm growing weary of folk tunes and tune-deficient techno...)

But my favorite music is Power Pop of the '60's, '70's and '80's, so when I run across one of my Bear brothers, who has clearly listened to much of the same music I love, making original music that acknowledges some of those sources (while still being original and contemporary) I simply can't resist.

It's kinda like you designed this music to appeal to me. And it works!
