"LOVE" - The Beatles

What does anyone else think of George & Giles Martin's mash-up CD, built entirely of Beatles bits?

Personally, I'm not very impressed. I'd rather hear proper mash-ups, or proper remixed/remastered Beatles. This artifact bears similarities to both, but is actually neither.

It is the only thing that makes me leary of going to Vegas and seeing Cirque De Soliel's "LOVE" is that they tamper too badly to the music, or even use that new "interpretation"....

its time to hunt for the soundtrack if they release one. Smoke out (my 5 days of holiday in Vegas) is in April.

The recording I referred to IS the "soundtrack" to the Cirque du Soleil show... Some freinds saw the show ober Thanksgiving and REALLY liked it. I'm kinda more interested in seeing that show than in just listening to the CD.
