Damn, it's almost worth flying to Minneapolis to see A Christmas Carol in Klingon.

I used to do a Klingon Nativity scene out of Playmates action figures. Worf was Joseph, K'elyhr was Mary and Little Alexander was the Christ Child. But doing the Dickens holiday classic in Klingon is better!

(My mom saw pics of I took the first installation of the Klingon Nativity. She declared it to be sacrilegious, which meant I had to put it up again the next couple of years.)

There's no way I could set this up in the few days left for their performances this year.

If they do it again next year, though, I'm THERE!

I LOVE Nativity scenes. When I was a kid I wanted to keep ours up all year long. Just prior to my break up with Paul he promised to make me one. Never happend.

Sometime shortly after that a friend made me one.

With miniture pink flamingos, and a tiny halo'd egg as the Baby Jesus. I remember thinking when I first saw it, "Well..., this isn't exactly what I had in mind, but it'll do."

As everyone knows, Dickens (like most other authors) is best experienced in the original Klingon...

(BTW, the link now appears to be broken. Not surprising, more than a month later.)
