Avatar is much better than I expected. If Cameron would hire someone to polish his dialogue, and maybe help him make the story a trifle more subtle, it would be perfect.
I heard someone call it "Dances with Smurfs" because of the blue NA'Vi.
But yeah, it was all about White Guilt, and how the White Guy will still be the one to save the natives from the other White Guys. That element was super-annoying.
